Fall at Scottsdale Farms

Fall at Scottsdale Farms

I love the Fall season and what better place to spend some family time than at Scottsdale Farms, located north of Atlanta in Milton Ga.   Here are some fun things they have planned for you.

Fall is a great time to visit Scottsdale Farms.  Plant trees, shrubs, and perennials now – our warm soil temperatures allow roots to get established before winter dormancy.  Now is also a great time to divide perennials. Cool-season veggies should be planted so you can enjoy fresh vegetables from your own garden. Early October is the best time to plant pansies, mums, ornamental cabbages and kales for fabulous Fall focal points that will carry you through the Winter and early Spring.

Our pumpkins have been growing and are getting ready to be harvested.  Pumpkins, gourds, ornamental grasses and corn work well with the gorgeous Fall color that surrounds us. We have a vast selection of colors, textures, shapes, and sizes of pumpkins from which to choose.  Our container designers are busy preparing colorful combination planters for you.

Have tons of family fun at the Pumpkin Patch at Scottsdale Farms.  We have activities for the whole family, including hayrides, a corn maze, farm animals, cornhole, basketball and our playground.  Events and classes occur throughout the Fall, so please check our website for specific dates and times for each event.

Our barn is filled with beautiful Fall color that will help refresh your home interior.  Stop by and see how we can help you ease into the season with elegance.  The boutique has sweaters and accessories that are perfect for our southern temperatures.  Farm House Fresh is our new line of lotions, soaps, and serums to help you look and feel your best.

Our café has new items that are perfect for Fall.  Meet a friend for lunch or enjoy a specialty drink while you browse.

Come enjoy the fun at Scottsdale Farms and we hope to see you soon.
