For this Summer’s new colors and trends, I decided to get the facts from my top leading resources in the architecture, interior design, and fashion industries; namely the PANTONE colors and DWELL Media/ Magazine. Pantone provides a universal language of color that enables color-critical decisions for brands and manufacturers, and Dwell Magazine is an inspiration and collaborative platform for architects, designers, and enthusiasts to share and discover inspiring design.

SUMMER 2020 TOP COLORS
The Summer 2020 color selection by Pantone offers a classic palette of calming tones as well as several bold and bright shades. Since I strongly believe that Mindful Interior Designs should be inspired by nature; I decided it would be fun to combine them in a very specific holistic way, influenced by the ingenuity and the unique color amalgams found in nature’s fauna, flora, and sea life. Take a look at extraordinary pictures and the series of different soothing summer color schemes I created along with ideas of original interior spaces for you to get inspirations from.

SUMMER 2020 INTERIOR DESIGN TRENDS
From the DWELL 2020 summer tendencies, I selected 5 out of the 10 that had relevant applications with the Feng Shui principles in addition to being architectural details often used to solve spatial issues and enhance energy flow in a built environment; always keeping in mind the intent of creating balanced and harmonious living spaces.
