Every Holiday Season we are tuned into Oprah’s favorite things. Well, I decided it was time for a new updated list from our amazing and wonderful blog team at the Mezza. Here are few of our Favorite Things:
My favorite things for traveling, especially internationally:
These are great to have in your carryon bag when going through international airports as they tend to be more strict on the amount of liquids you carry onto the plane. They last 80 – 100 washes and smell amazing!
The best way to prevent jet lag is to make your body think it is sleeping. The only way to do that on a moving airplane is to block out all light and noise. Even if you are not fully asleep, resting with no light and sound will allow your body to rest enough so that when you land you can make it through the day until you can sleep in an actual bed that evening.
These are perfect for when your trip requires you to change hotels and not fully unpack in any given location. Pack your clothes for each day and you only have to pull out that cube and not ruin the rest of your suitcase by pulling things out from the bottom each time.
Just like with clothing I do not want to have to go to the bottom of my bag to find my phone charging cable. I keep all my cords in this pouch and know right where everything is and am ready to charge my devices when needed.
Most countries, excluding the US, do not give you a shopping bag when you purchase something in a store. You either have to pay for a bag or know to bring your own. I like this bag as it folds nicely into a pouch so that you can keep it in your backpack or purse when out and about.
